BAA Gatwick has picked up yet another award, this time Favourite UK Leisure Airport at the British Travel Awards 2007.
The British Travel Awards are presented to those travel organisations who receive the most votes from tens of thousands of consumers in polls conducted through Sky Travel TV, The Sunday Times, CBS Outdoor bus poster advertising, Yahoo! travel pages and ConsumerData.
The award was collected by Simon Edwards from the Airport’s Airline Relations Team at a ceremony held at Battersea Park last night, Thursday 15 November.
“Everyone at Gatwick is delighted to have received this important award,” Andy Flower, Managing Director BAA Gatwick said. “This is a particularly welcome achievement as it is the consumers, our passengers, who have voted for us. Again I would like to thank all our staff and all those who work for other businesses that make up the Gatwick community.”
